Apparently she had his attention, but he did not have hers. He watched as the men walked away with her and gave a gruff breath of annoyance. Now he just needed to know where the hell he was. He was not going to be chained up again, that was for sure. Looking around the square, a little better now that he was out of that cage, he tapped the rib against his thigh. The people shuffled away from him as he stood there. There was sure a lot of them around. Remembering the fact that this woman was able to call on many men at one time, he decided against trying anything he normally was known for.

He started walking around the square, looking for a way back, but unfortunately he had been out cold on the trip inside this place. Since he did not know anyone, he leaned against a wall to think. He wanted to know who had brought him in here so he could rip them apart.

Yvette watched, she actually flinched, her lips pulling back and her ears swiveling about to flatten against her skull, pressing the soft tresses there tightly against her head. Turning her face away she literally presses it against the bulging arm of the dark skinned man at her side. The man did not so much as flinch, nor did he seem to outwardly react to his queens sudden movements. Instead he simply watched on, stoic and still.

After a few moments she peeled her face from the bicep in front of her, pulling her gaze to the face of the creature in front of her. After a few moments, studying him quietly, she nods to the body, instead speaking to those around her.

"Clean this mess up, rid his associates of their ability to slave others out...you are to make an example of them publicly." Then, her head turning, she gazed down her nose towards the male, her head held high like the royalty she was..that was what they had told her to do, wasn't it? Turning her back to him she clenched her hands about her, two of the men flanking her behind and closing in, while the others once more melted into the crowds around them, her own figure moving away from the scene.

He looked at the rock and back up to the woman. Was she serious? He did not know how to use that thing. Scooting forward a bit, he picked up the rock with the digits of his fingers and rubbed it on the chains. Surprisingly, they fell off of his wrists and ankles. He stepped out of the cage and looked at the man on his knees. Eyeballing the guards, they stepped back as the man made a whimper at Rex. He smirked as his claws came out and ripped the man's face off. He went down in a gurgle of blood. Rex rammed his claws into the man's chest and yanked out a rib. He would keep a piece of what he killed.

He wiped the blood on the man's clothes, turned and looked to the woman who freed him. His face showed no emotion as he sized her up, and those around her. This was one of those no win situations and he figured he would let some interaction happen before he tried anything. "You have my attention."

Yvette's lips parted in order to answer, but she was interupted by the thing in the cage. After a few moments, a brow perked at him, she would crouch down at the cage side. Reaching for the lock with one hand, she reached the other behind her, palm up. The man at her side dropped a small green rock in her palm, and she brought it forward.

"Mulra." she murmured, laying her lips delicately across it. Reaching the now glowing rock towards the front of the cage she ran it slowly over the hinges, not bothering with the locks. Giving a soft tug the hinges gave with an odd creaking noise, and she swung the door open. Slowly unfolding her figure from the ground she tossed the cold stone towards the chained being.

"Free yourself." she commanded softly, turning her attention to the man that was now pressed to his knees on the ground. "For the crime of slavery within my kingdom, for which I find you guilty without aid of trial or jury, you are hereby sentenced to death..."

Stepping back she gently laid her palm against the arm of the flexing man beside her, her gaze traveling in the direction of the animal within the cage.

"To be dealt out by this creature, whom you have wrongfully imprisoned without my decree."

The man's face was of shock when he was grabbed and detained. He did not fight back, but gave the woman a confused look. Had he not been respectful or even given her first offer? What was going on here? "I do not understand your Majesty! Why?" he asked in confusion and fear. Rex's grin faded as he watched all the men come out and take the man down. So there was more to deal with inside these walls. Leaning forward again, he started to feel for the weak link in the chain as the commotion went on around him.

"Please... what did I do wrong, my Queen?" The man kept asking as he was being held. Rex smirked and dropped the chains again. He was not sure he could break them yet. "Three things you did wrong. One, you found me. Two, you chained me up. Three, and this one is most important, you brought me here."

Yve was silent through the whole thing, the pitch black, neon streaked hair moving about, curls bouncing across her shoulders, sliding over to caress the curve of her silken cheek. After a long pause, in which she has found herself frowning deeply at the man, she cast a short glance towards the cage. Then, her hand slowly lifted from where it had linked with its twin before her. Slender fur covered digits flexed in the air over her head, motioning at someone...whom was not seen until that very moment.

From within the very crowd men seemed to seep, many of them. Those that had appeared to be shopping, others that had been hidden in alleyways between dilapidated buildings, even more whose heads poked up among those lopsited roofs. Bows were lifted, poison tipped arrow knocked within. A tall male, his head a full foot above her own, his dark skin gleaming softly in the light shed upon him from the sky above, moved to her side. His head bowed forward, and his hand touched his chest lightly.

"Your Majesty." He mumbled, a deep thunderous voice, that only had her smiling.

"Detain this man." She said softly. Within seconds several of the men that had been behind her darted forward, blade in hand, moving to grasp ahold of the man in an attempt to take him down without a true fight.

The man looked to the woman and recognized her immediately. He bowed to her and crossed an arm under his stomach. He was not going to upset the queen. "We found it around the gates, running from some people with weapons. Not sure what it is, my queen." the man said to her in deep respect.

Rex smirked and watched the two interact. He wondered how quickly the man would scream once his shackles came off. So, the bounty hunters were not the ones who captured him. He had to give props to whoever did though. It was no easy task to take him down that well. He wondered how long he had been asleep. Moving his paws to feel the chains on his limbs, he tried to see if there were any weak links. This of course made them jingle and the man rattled the cage to shut him up. Rex eyed the man and dropped the chains before he could rattle the cage again.

"Of course, your majesty is free to have first offer on this thing." the man said with even more respect. Rex huffed and pressed his back against the back of the cage. Once they let him out, he would show that man what fear truly is. This was not going to be something he was going to let go. The man rattled the cage again to make Rex be quieter. He growled low at the man. "When I get out of here, you will be the first."

Yvette was gently stroking the child's head, when the shouting caught her attention. One dark purple ear twitched and swiveled about, followed by her head as it turned about in order to peer int he direction of the shouting. The females entire body is covered in a silken purple fur, striped with a darker yet shade of the color. As her ears perked forward she turned her head faintly to one side. A single twitch of her hand and a male stepped out of the crowd to gently take ahold of the child, who grinned widely and turned to cling to the mans arm as he carried her towards Yve's own home.

"Excuse me.." She murmured softly, her ears twitching lightly as she stepped forward, the silken cloths that dangle betwixt her thighs swaying about, caressing the soft fur that covers the length of both long legs. She lifts her head, the slender golden links that grace the top of her head shimmering softly, its single teardrop shaped red gem , dangling just above the center of her eyes, glints brightly. As she folds her hands before her, fingers interlocked with one another, she peers down into the cage, her wide eyes, fringed in thick lashes, peering across the features of the animal like creature trapped within. "What 'ees going on 'ere?" she asks.

Her voice is high and clear, and without hesitation a number of people around her step back, their heads bowing as her voice cuts through,t he authority she is well known for ringing through the air, interrupting conversations and bringing her into sharp focus of most everyone surrounding the small group.

Rex finally woke up. He had been running for weeks from some group of bounty hunters. So many of them around now, he could not keep count of them all. He had a splitting headache and could hear someone shouting next to him. Once he was fully aware of his surroundings, he noticed he had been shackled and placed in some kind of cage. Leaning up and looking around this place, he tried to feel the limitations of his new imprisonment. Did these people not know you should not cage a wild animal? Such pathetic humans he seemed to be in the custody of.

"Freshly caught and ready for your use! Come see the newest beast from the outside world! Not a man, more of an animal!" The man next to the cage was shouting out. Rex raised a brow and shook his head. So he was now a sideshow attraction. That man will die first. Looking out into the square, he could see a neko type. If he was a sideshow, then what was she? It dawned on him then. His headache must have been more than he realized if he had not noticed it yet. He was going to be sold as a slave. This made him chuckle slightly. They will be very surprised once they let him out of this thing.

Early in the morning the air is cool and crisp, it smells of the mountain breeze that drifts through, of the cooking foods that waft from the food district. Here in the square, amongst the lopsided table, the half built buildings, and the many blankets that litter that ground from which people hawk their wares, an elegent feline figure moves about slowly. Large purple ears twitch and move about on either side of her head, and those full human like lips of hers are pressed into that ever present delicate smile.

The female was easy to stand out, as she was a rather bright and deep purple, covered in a fine fur, and the large ears upon her head are ever in motion. Black tresses, streaked in an almost neon purple, tumbled about her face, always done in tight spiraling curls, though this time it was gathered in an intricate patern at the back of her head. It fell from this pattern to grace the sides of her purple and white face, to dance along her bare shoulders. The slender figure was dressed in one of the normal designs of Promelthia. Two metal cups hug her breasts, held together by thin silver chains. Five more of thoe chains come up about her slender throat. Two long narrow chains hang from the center of her breasts, and one down the center of her back, connecting to the five chains that hug her hips. From this falls two long sheer purple cloths, which sway in time with her movement.

Bare feet carefully pick through the available space for her to move about. She is stopped, however, by a small child whose hands have been held out to her, cupped towards the skies. She is dirty, dressed in rags that she has likely stolen in order to cover herself.

"Please...Majesty.......a few coins...." The girls voice broke on the dryness that parched her throat, cracked her lips, and it moved the young Queens heart. One of those purple hands came to her chest, when her palm and splayed fingers would cover the space between her breasts over those chains. Slowly she crouched, knees together, her head dipping so many purple streaked curls danced about her features.

"What 'ees your name, child?" She asked. She had not been accepted at first, when the previous Queen had named her in her place, and had left Promelthia forever. Her wild accent, her race, the fact that she had come from outside the city, and had not been born within. These had all been problems when she'd first come to power. They had slowly begun to accept her, though there were still a great many that thought it wrong she be in a place of power. This, however, did not matter. The magically bound guard that were forever at her back, even if they remained unseen, kept attacks an impossibility...and her edicts were carried out without problem..if only for the threat of being ejected from the city walls into unknown territory.

"Geezah Ma'am..." Came the timid reply, the childs hands slwoly falling as the look of hope she'd held on her face for some form of coin for her breakfst began to fade.

"Well Geezah..." She lifted a hand and gently tousled the childs dirty hair, seemingly oblivious to how dirty it was. "Per'aps you can accompany me, mmm? 'Zen later....you can come to my 'ome." Her voice was slow and soft, a delicate sound that many often found hard to hear. When not in her seat of power, and not sitting amongst the council members who bring their problems before her, she seems a timid creature. Perhaps nearly incapable of hurting another, much less passing laws that kept the gates locked from all...
